ICEHOTEL Time Again in Sweden
WOW at the ICEHOTEL
With winter just around the corner you can feel the nip in the air already. Most of us will feel depressed and wishing the summer had lasted longer – or they had a holiday booked for somewhere warm.
Well how about going to stay in an Ice Hotel close to the Arctic Circle sound? Most people would shiver to death thinking about it, but the crazy idea has grabbed more and more people’s attention over the last few years.
Yes that’s rite – just in case you did not here rite the first time. More and more people are traveling out to the aaaaaaaarctic Circle to stay in ICE Hotel’s. You would think they are bonkers or something but when you see the quality of the accommodation the first thing that runs through your mind is WOW!!! This place looks amazing.
It started back in 1996 when artists from around the globe started turning up Jukkasjarvi, Lapland, Sweden to help build the ICEHOTEL. Since the news started to spread around there has been over five hundred artists (sculptures in my eyes) giving a helping hand designing, sculpting and even staying in the ICEHOTEL.
Every year just seems to get more popular and this year will be no different to the past and with 60,000 visitors expected again and it is being tipped as being the most successful year to date. I know it’s not most people’s idea of a luxury holiday but with its uniqueness and limited availability for people to visit ICEHOTEL – I think it deserves to be up there with the best.
