Let’s face it, there are few places more pleasant to be than on the beach. There are a number of ‘best beach’ guides on the internet, here are some of the best guides from the most reliable sources.
- Expedia’s top ten beach holidays: a nice worldwide selection of beaches. The top ten is: Antigua, Phuket, Barbados, Sydney, French Riviera, Algarve, Jamaica, Tenerife, St Lucia and Honolulu. From this list we would lean towards the Caribbean destinations – although to experience any would be a pleasure.
- Times Online: Top 20 Beaches in Europe – Excellent in-depth and diverse article on the top beaches in Europe. Choices include Tropea – Calabria, Italy; Benirras, Ibiza; Mawgan Porth, Cornwall; Sainte Maxime, Cote D’Azur.
- The Guardian: Top 10 beaches of the world. TravelBlog style guide to some of the world’s great beaches. Very entertianing read with some great advice.
